Why Dreaming Is Important
By Robert Moss, 2015
A dream is a wake-up call. It takes us beyond what we already know. Dreams are the language of the soul, and they are experiences of the soul.
There are “big” dreams and “little” dreams, of course. In big dreams, we go traveling and we may receive visitations. We travel across time – into the future and the past – and we travel to other dimensions of reality. This is reflected in the words for “dream” that are used by indigenous people who have retained strong dreaming traditions and respect for dreamers. Among the Makiritare, a shamanic dreaming people of Venezuela, for example, the word for dream is adekato, which means “a journey of the soul”.
Most societies have valued dreams and dreamers for three main reasons. First, they have looked to dreams for contact with a wiser source than the everyday mind – call that God, or Nature, or the Self. Second, they have looked to dreams as part of our survival kit, giving us clues to possible future events we may want to avoid or enact. Third, they have known that dreaming is medicine, in several important senses. Dreams show us what is going on inside the body, often before physical symptoms present. Continue reading
THE HOLLOW EARTH: A MADDENING THEORY THAT CAN’T BE DISPROVED
From OMNI Magazine (October 1983)
If there were a hall of fame for pseudoscientists, surely Cyrus Teed would deserve a place of honor. It was shortly after the Civil War that Teed had his vision: The earth is a hollow sphere, and WE LIVE INSIDE IT. Everything else in the universe is in here with us — planets, comets, stars — everything. What’s outside the sphere? Nothing.
Teed’s cosmology had a particular appeal to religious fundamentalists. It made the earth important again, rather than an insignifigant speck in the cosmos. And it eliminated the difficult concepts of infinite space and aimlessly scattered worlds. We’re all right here together in this safe, spherical womb.
In 1870 Teed changed his name to Koresh (ancient Hebrew for Cyrus) and started a cult. At its peak in the Nineties the Koreshan (pronounced ker-ESH-an) Unity movement had some 4,000 followers. Teed Continue reading

From All Good Things
The Foot Chakra (which splits into the arch of each foot) is also considered part of the Muladhara as its energy moves down through the legs and into both feet. It represents the earth. It is responsible for flowing the energy to and from your physical energy system into the earth. This is your grounding point where the energy of your body is transformed into earth energy and the reverse.
A good healthy foot chakra will help you to (1) more easily manifest things physically, as it is the transformer of your thought energy into the earth system; (2) help you to stay physically focused on tasks throughout your day. If you are Continue reading
Earth’s Core 1,000 Degrees Hotter Than Expected
By Elizabeth Howell, 2013
Earth’s internal engine is running about 1,000 degrees Celsius (about 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit) hotter than previously measured, providing a better explanation for how the planet generates a magnetic field, a new study has found.
A team of scientists has measured the melting point of iron at high precision in a laboratory, and then drew from that result to calculate the temperature at the boundary of Earth’s inner and outer core — now estimated at 6,000 C (about 10,800 F). That’s as hot as the surface of the sun. Continue reading
The Occult Sun: Part One
By Elva Thompson, 2015
Everything is one of a pair of opposites…. The Kybalion.
Occult Tradition: the polarities of the sun
According to esoteric tradition the sun has two polarities, positive and negative: a physical sun and a spiritual sun. The seat of the sun is the third chakra of Fire and resides in the solar plexus of the human energetic system; this is also dual and can be divided into Fire rising (+), Fire at neutral, and Fire descending (-).
The rising sun
The dawn Sun is the movement of Fire rising upwards into the fourth chakra of Air (the heart field). The sound of Fire rising in Pythagorean intervals is the mystic 6th C+A. At twelve noon the Sun is at rest in the centre point, and then descends into the second chakra of Water (Emotions). Continue reading
Lower Lower Self or Two-Dimensional Life Form?
By 7M, Jan 2013
As I realized that my Higher Self operates in more dimensions than my lower self can sensibly register, I wondered if there is also an even lower self that is only two-dimensional. I decided on a little investigation. And the first site the search engine provided was a Star Trek inspired website.
“A two-dimensional life-form is unlike most typical lifeforms that exist in the galaxy. Generally, lifeforms exist in three dimensions, but these such lifeforms are known to exist in a single plane only (and as such have either no length, no height, or no width). Some of these beings make their homes in cosmic strings, objects a single proton wide but with lengths measuring in kilometers or more. These strings have a gravitational attraction like black holes or homing beacons for two-dimensional beings. Continue reading
